Whether you’re handing out medals, cheering at water stations, or helping with setup and teardown, there’s a role for everyone.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Packet Pickup: Help distribute race packets and answer participant questions.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic away from participants and guiding participants in the right direction. Feel free to bring pom-poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!
• Aid Station: Provide water to participants as they pass. Keep course clean for runners by picking up discarded cups, bottles, and trash and place it in the provided trash bins. Please feel free to bring pom poms, signs, horns, music, etc to cheer on participants. Bonus for great costumes!
• Finish Line Photographer: Capture participant photos at the finish line, a camera is provided
• Course Photographer: Capture photos at scenic places along the course - camera not provided
• Lead Bike: Volunteers must have their own bike and helmet, also must ride the course prior to race day.
• Turtle: The "Turtle" assumes the crucial role of the final participant, ensuring the safety and security of both the race course and fellow participants. With a deliberate pace, they steadfastly trail behind, serving as the guardian of the event's integrity. Their commitment to being the last to cross the finish line for the longest distance underscores their dedication to the well-being of all involved. As the ultimate supporter and protector, the Turtle embodies the essence of endurance and solidarity, ensuring that every participant completes the race journey safely.
• Finish Line Volunteer: Help assist in setting up the awards table, give results and hand out medals. All participants will earn a free race entry to a future event!
