About Bodies Race Company Denver
Why it’s better running with us.
Meet our Team
Here at Bodies Race Company – Denver we strive to make a healthy impact in our community. We do this by focusing on three core values: Fun. Family. Fitness. We truly are an organization by family, for family. Bodies Race Company was founded by a husband-and-wife team in 2011, and these values still shine through today, not only here in Denver, but at every location in the nation.
Owner, Race Director
Graeme enjoys so many outdoor activities that we can’t possibly list them here. Just get him moving, add a little sunshine, and watch him grow. Graeme’s passion is to create lifelong movers within others as well. Graeme was born in South Africa and raised in Canada, so he values having a worldly view. Graeme enjoys travelling, meeting new people and getting involved in his community. He is the ultimate people person. Graeme enjoys talking to participants before and after the races, so don’t be shy – come say, ‘Hi.’ Graeme is excited to show Denver FUN. FAMILY. FITNESS.
Grayson enjoys reading, telling jokes and quizzing others on science facts. Grayson is interested in timing and race day logistics. He wants to learn and conquer all things race-day related, just like his dad! Grayson’s favorite joke: Why is the ocean so salty? Because the land never waves back.
Owner, Race Director
Michele works in project management by day and serves as Graeme’s right-hand woman by night (and on the weekends) directing races. Michele enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Her favorite activities include running, hiking, biking, and gardening. During races you can find Michele helping Graeme with timing.
Griffin is the silliest (and smallest) member of the Murphy clan. He enjoys playing outside with his friends. Griffin is super quick on a scooter and likes to scoot alongside Michele and Graeme on family runs. Griffin enjoys handing out race day medals. You can’t miss him at the finish line, because he has the biggest smile.
Keira enjoys photography. You can find her taking race day photos. She hopes to grow her race day photography into a business of her own. Keira also enjoys drawing and would most certainly describe herself as a creative type. Keira was the family’s original running inspiration back in 2012 when she joined Girls on the Run. The whole family became involved and grew to love the sport as something active they could do outside as a family.
History of Bodies Race Company
Bodies Race Company started in 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri with just one event. Husband-and-wife team Brad and Jen were taking many of their personal training clients to local races when someone suggested organizing and hosting their own race. They did just that; keeping true to their passion to provide the community with a fun, family-friendly running event, they tried to do a little good in the community. The community response was better than they could have ever imagined.
The rest is history.
Today Bodies Race Company has grown to several Bodies races throughout the year in communities across the country, including Denver! Bodies Race Company has remained committed to getting the community active and healthy by providing high-quality events with affordable pricing. You can count on every Bodies Race Company event to provide family fun activities, chip timing, live results, great event shirts, finisher medals for all participants, custom bibs and great post-race food. Sign up today and come run with us!
Bodies Race Company not only produces their own events, they also provide event management and race timing services for other local races. If you know someone that wants to help make a healthy impact in their community send them to our company page at www.BodiesRaceCompany.com to see about franchise opportunities.
