For the foreseeable future, all Bodies Race Company events will still be held on race days. We know other companies are cancelling their events, but Bodies Race Company is committed to offering fun events to keep our runners active. We are taking necessary steps to ensure we can achieve our mission of making a healthy impact in our community while keeping the events safe and sanitary by following specific CDC guidelines. These items can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. We are closely monitoring the situation and will follow the mandates of local governing bodies.

We are taking specific precautions on race day. We ask that you observe the following:

1. We are utilizing our chip timing to introduce a staggered start. The goal is to keep adequate space between participants as they run.
2. We encourage touchless interaction on race day; please refrain from high-fives, hugs and close contact. We know, this stinks! But we’ll be back to normal operations, soon. In addition, please be aware of your surroundings; cough and sneeze into your arm for the safety of everyone around.
3. To limit lines, we advise picking up your packet at packet pickup instead of race day. Lines on race day will be adequately spaced, and the process will take longer as our staff stays sanitized to keep everyone safe.
4. Bring personal water bottles. As part of our touchless interaction initiative, as well as limited store supply, we may not offer water stations on race day. Post-race food will consist of only pre-packaged food.
5. Bring a cellular device to check your live results. To avoid long lines and close contact, we encourage that you check your results on your cellular device and only stop by the registration tent after the race to pick up your awards.

We do recommend staying home if you feel ill, someone in your household or office is ill, or if you have a susceptible immune system. We also recognize that some participants may opt to stay home to err on the side of caution. We understand and stand by this approach! If you decide to forgo the race, we’ve got you covered.

For years participants have taken advantage of our virtual races as an alternative option to the race day event. Now, our virtual race experience is better than ever.

We will offer Facebook Live videos of Bodies Race Company events. Run with us virtually and still participate in race day! There will also be a virtual run video available to watch anytime, offering participants a true running experience, wherever, whenever. In addition, we’ll offer alternative living room cardio workouts, adding a new way to earn your swag from the comfort of your own home! Once participants complete the virtual race on their own time, they can upload their results onto the virtual race leaderboard. The best part is, you have everything you need; there is no additional cost to you, and you still receive your shirt, bib and medal!

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for virtual videos and updates!

If you’d like to switch your race entry to the virtual experience, please email your local Race Director.

Please note that we are still standing by our no-refund policy. All materials, permits and resources have been paid for with registration fees, so there is no way to offer refunds. Our virtual race experience allows participants to receive everything they paid for.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we appreciate you all and look forward to seeing our running community soon!
